The Friends of the Peabody School (FoP) is a charitable trust dedicated to enriching the educational environment at the Peabody School. It was formed in the fall of 1990 and each year since then the Friends has raised money to be used for the benefit of the students. FoP supports activities such as field trips, author visits, and the school art gallery. Teachers and staff make requests which are reviewed and approved by the FoP organization. Fund raisers organized by the FoP include selling Raspberry cards, Peabody t-shirt sales, Ragnar Relay, and the Flatbread night. The FoP always welcome any new members to help organize and staff fund raising efforts, to review requests made by teachers and staff and to bring new ideas to the group. The FoP meet on the second Friday of every month. For now, we’re on Zoom but we look forward to when we can meet in person again in the Peabody library.
