Ragnar Race is Coming Up!

In less than a month, a group of 12 Peabody supporters with 2 van drivers are running to raise money for more enrichment programs at Peabody. The Ragnar Relay is a 192-mile relay that runs through the night starting in Hull, zig-zags all over the Cape, and then ends at Smuggler’s Beach in South Yarmouth. The team runs three legs each with everyone running anywhere from a half-marathon to a marathon distance. This year’s team includes first grade teacher extraordinaire, Ms. Nerich, and parents, tios, tias and friends of Peabody students from JK through middle school.

Stay tuned for some fun background info on all of the runners and drivers who are participating this year.

Ragnar Race!

In approximately 40 days, the Friends of Peabody Pumas will be embarking on their third Ragnar relay race. Each Puma will run three legs of this 200-mile relay with each runner running anywhere from a half-marathon to a marathon distance through the night.  The team is rallying to try to raise $7500 to fund additional FoP programs like the recent Alton Jones field trip.  A donation of any amount helps support that goal.
